Registry Terms

1. What the registry is

The SIREG Owner Registry is a voluntary, free registry run by OLH Property Management. It organizes owners of SIREG / Simple Investor units by building so they can receive building updates, take part in private owner discussions and join building meetings.

2. Who may register

Only an owner of the unit, or someone authorized to act for the owner. By selecting “Register My Unit” you confirm that you are the owner or an authorized representative of each unit you list.

3. What registering does not do

The registry is not an official condominium voting list, a proxy, a legal ownership register or a class-action list. Registering does not:

• join you to any lawsuit or legal proceeding;
• cast a vote or sign a proxy for any condominium meeting;
• authorize anyone to represent you legally;
• prove that you are eligible to vote; or
• change your legal rights.

Registering is free and does not require you to hire OLH Property Management, LandlordEzy, List It Realty or anyone else.

4. Verifying ownership

Each unit you register is an ownership claim that OLH reviews. We may ask for proof, such as a deed, parcel register or property tax bill, through your private owner page. Claims that are pending, not accepted or in conflict with another claim stay private.

5. What is shown, and to whom

• Public registry: a unit appears publicly only after its ownership is verified and the owner chooses public listing. It shows the unit number and “Owner registered” — never a name, email, phone number, document or tenant.
• Private building directory: a separate choice. If you turn it on, verified owners in the same building can see the details you chose to share. Access to a private building owner group requires verified ownership or staff approval.
• Every choice is off until you turn it on, and each one is separate.

6. Messages you will receive

Registering means we will contact you to administer your registration: confirmation, ownership-verification requests, registry status, notices about your building, private-group administration, meeting details for your building, and security or privacy notices.

Optional Ontario landlord news, guides and service updates are sent only if you ticked that box. You can unsubscribe from them at any time from any email.

7. Changing your mind

You can turn any sharing choice off on your private owner page at any time; it takes effect immediately. To correct your details or ask to be removed from the registry, message us using the chat on this site or the contact details in our privacy policy.

8. Accuracy

The registry is built from what owners tell us and what OLH verifies. It may be incomplete. A building’s percentage is shown only when its complete total number of units is known from an authorized source.

9. Information only

OLH provides general information and coordination. Individual legal advice must come from an independent lawyer who reviews your own documents and circumstances.
