Assign owners to properties (co-ownership)

Link each property to one or more owners and set each owner’s ownership percentage and any per-property fee override.

How it works

Properties are linked to owners on the owner record. When you add or edit an owner, you get a checklist of your properties — tick the ones they own and set their ownership percentage for each.

Co-owned properties

  1. Add each co-owner as a separate owner record.
  2. On each owner, assign the same property and set their share (e.g. 50% and 50%, or 60/40).
  3. One owner per property is marked primary (the main contact).

Bills posted to a co-owned property are split across the owners by their percentage automatically.

Per-property fee override

Each property assignment can override the owner’s default management fee — handy when one building is on a different rate.

Grouped view

The Owners list groups co-owners who share properties together, so you can see ownership groups at a glance.
